Chia Pudding

Updated: Aug 25, 2021

Making chia pudding overnight means that you can make breakfast in less than five minutes in the morning, which is perfect if mornings are already busy enough! Plus, you can make a batch and it will last for a few days. It is creamy, versatile and has that wonderful ability to be healthy while simultaneously feeling like an indulgent dessert.

Ingredients

250ml of Oat milk

3 tbsp of Chia seeds

Sweetener of choice (we used 1 tsp maple syrup)

Whatever toppings you have on hand (you could use peanut or any nut butter, nuts, seeds, fresh or frozen fruit, jam, maple or agave syrup, chocolate chips, the list goes on!)

“Morning is wonderful. Its only drawback is that it comes at such an inconvenient time of day.” Glen Cook

Instructions

  1. In a bowl or container, stir up your oat milk, chia seeds and sweetener.

  2. Put the mixture in the fridge to sit overnight. you might want to stir every now and then to make sure all of the chia seeds are absorbing the milk.

  3. In the morning, add your toppings!

Keep the chia pudding in a sealed container, it will last for up to 5 days (depending on when you made your oat milk).
